Markiplier to make millions from GoPro investment after company announces $285m Starman merger

Markiplier could be in for a major payday after GoPro announced its merger with Starman Optical. The YouTuber owns more than 8.5% of GoPro and is the company’s largest individual shareholder outside investment firms and GoPro itself. His stake is estimated at around $9 million, while shareholders are set to receive around $1.14 per share under the deal. The exact payout for Fischbach has not been disclosed yet.
