Yellow warning for isolated heavy thunderstorms with hail

A yellow warning for isolated heavy thunderstorms on Wednesday has been issued by the Meteorological Department. The warning is valid from 11am till 6pm and the thunderstorms are expected to affect mainly mountainous and inland areas. Hail can be expected during the thunderstorms. The precipitation rate is likely to exceed 35mm per hour.
