World's Longest Highway Tunnel Opens in China's Xinjiang Region

The Tianshan Shengli tunnel, now the world's longest highway tunnel, has opened in China's Xinjiang region. This 22-kilometer tunnel is part of a new highway that significantly reduces travel time between the northern and southern parts of the region.
