Woman hospitalised after trying to put out kitchen fire

A woman was taken to the Nicosia general hospital after inhaling smoke while trying to put out a kitchen fire at her home in the suburb of Lakatamia. The fire brigade said the blaze was caused by cookware left on a lit hob, and that it damaged part of the kitchen.
