A 49-year-old woman was arrested in Thessaloniki, Greece, after police found three cats tied with ropes on her balcony, in a case of alleged animal abuse.

Στη σύλληψη μιας 49χρονης γυναίκας για υπόθεση κακοποίησης ζώων προχώρησαν το μεσημέρι της Κυριακής αστυνομικοί του Αστυνομικού Τμήματος Παύλου Μελά. Σύμφωνα με την αστυνομία, η γυναίκα εντοπίστηκε στην περιοχή της Ευκαρπίας να έχει στο μπαλκόνι του σπιτιού της τρεις γάτες δεμένες με σχοινί. Σε βάρος της 49χρονης βεβαιώθηκαν τα προβλεπόμενα διοικητικά πρόστιμα, συνολικού ύψους 17.600 ευρώ, ενώ η συλληφθείσα αναμένεται να οδηγηθεί ενώπιον του αρμόδιου Εισαγγελέα.
