West Bengal raises upper age limit for state government job aspirants across all groups

The Government of West Bengal has revised upper age limits for state government recruitment across all groups. As per an official notification issued by the Finance Department, the upper age limit is now 41 years for Group A, 44 years for Group B, and 45 years for Group C and D posts. The change, effective from May 11, 2026, aims to broaden job eligibility and will apply under amended West Bengal service recruitment rules.
