Wealthy Hungarian Company Fined for Illegal Fishing in Natura 2000 Area
A company owned by one of Hungary's wealthiest individuals was fined five million forints for illegally fishing 55 tons of fish from a Natura 2000 protected area in Hajdú-Bihar. The incident, which occurred last December, effectively destroyed the habitat.
