Volkswagen Sells German Plant to Defense Contractor for Missile Defense Production

Volkswagen has agreed to sell its Osnabrück manufacturing facility to a defense industry firm, ending decades of automobile assembly at the site. The buyer plans to convert the plant into a production hub for components used in Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system.
