Vienna U-Bahn Tunneling Completed for U2/U5 Expansion

The tunneling phase for the first section of Vienna's U2/U5 subway expansion has been completed, with the tunnel boring machine 'Debohra' finishing its work. Construction will now proceed with interior outfitting and technical installations, with the five new stations expected to open in 2030.
