University of Tokyo Disciplines 21 Faculty Members Over Entertainment and Gifts
The University of Tokyo has disciplined 21 special associate professors and others for accepting entertainment and gifts, including 50,000 yen dining receptions, from private companies following an internal investigation into a series of scandals. The university plans to announce governance reforms next week.
