UNESCO gives Ohrid region 5-year deadline to address concerns, avoids black list
The government of North Macedonia has been given a five-year deadline by UNESCO to implement recommendations for the protection of the Ohrid region. This decision means the region will not be immediately placed on the black list of endangered heritage sites.
