Ukraine Developing "Low Cost" Patriot Alternative for Ballistic Missile Defense
Ukrainian arms manufacturer Fire Point announced it is collaborating with European partners to develop Freia, a "low cost" air defense system designed to intercept ballistic missiles. The system is anticipated to be operational by late 2026, offering an alternative to the American Patriot system.
