UK Government to End Study Visas for Four Countries and Implement Temporary Refugee Status
The government plans to stop issuing study visas to individuals from Afghanistan, Cameroon, Myanmar, and Sudan due to alleged abuse. Additionally, adults and accompanied children claiming asylum will now only receive temporary refugee status for 30 months.
