At 20 years old, Tieme Heeringa has become the youngest alderman in the Netherlands, taking a seat in the college of Dantumadiel in Friesland.

Terwijl veel twintigers zich afvragen of ze vanavond naar de kroeg gaan, of misschien naar de sportschool, neemt de 20-jarige Tieme Heeringa vandaag plaats in het college van het Friese Dantumadiel. Hij is dan voor zover bekend de jongste wethouder ooit in Nederland. "De mensen reageren verrast op deze nieuwe stap", vertelt Heeringa.
