Following the storms at the weekend, by 6.00 pm on Monday 24 August, power had been restored to 190,000 customers – or 70 per cent of those whose power supply had been cut off due to the storms, according to information compiled by distributor “Sadales tīkls”. On Monday morning, around 87,000 customers were still without power.
