The population of the Czech Republic decreased by 12,200 in the first half of this year, so at the end of June, 10.904 million people lived in the country.

Obyvatel České republiky v letošním prvním pololetí ubylo 12.200, ke konci června jich tak v zemi žilo 10,904 milionu. Důvodem úbytku byl vyšší počet zemřelých než narozených, což nedokázala vyrovnat ani migrace. Jejím vlivem Česko obyvatele získalo. Předběžná data v pátek zveřejnil Český statistický úřad (ČSÚ).
