The atrocities of Nazism did not stop with the murders of six million Jews
The systematic persecution and murder of Jews by the Nazi regime, resulting in the deaths of six million, was a central element of their ideology. However, the scope of Nazi brutality extended far beyond this genocide, encompassing the persecution and killing of millions of others deemed "undesirable" or enemies of the state. This included Roma and Sinti people, homosexuals, disabled individuals, political opponents, Jehovah's Witnesses, and Soviet prisoners of war, among other groups. The regime's policies of racial purity and totalitarian control led to widespread suffering, forced labor, medical experimentation, and mass executions across Nazi-occupied Europe.
