Táncsics was released on March 15th, but was later sentenced to death, couldn't be found, so his nameplate was hung up instead
A few years later, he was arrested precisely on March 15th because he wanted to commemorate the revolution, and was imprisoned in Buda in the same place from which the March youth freed him in 1848.
