A sushi restaurant in the center of Eindhoven, Netherlands, was destroyed by fire following an explosion, suspected to be caused by heavy fireworks thrown inside. The perpetrators fled in a car, and surrounding homes were evacuated.

In een sushi-restaurant in het centrum van Eindhoven is brand uitgebroken nadat vermoedelijk zwaar vuurwerk naar binnen was gegooid. De dader of daders zijn gevlucht in een auto, meldt de politie. Omliggende woningen zijn ontruimd en niemand is gewond geraakt. De brandweer is nog bezig met blussen. Volgens een camerapersoon ter plekke ligt er veel glas op straat en is de schade aan het pand groot.
