Students Protest Verdict in Canopy Collapse Case, Blame Shifted to Student

Students in Pančevo protested after a court issued a conditional sentence to Andrej Tanko, an electrical engineering student, for the collapse of a canopy, arguing that he is the first to be convicted while those truly responsible remain unpunished.

Studenti u blokadi saopštili su danas, nakon što je Osnovni sud u Pančevu izrekao uslovnu kaznu od šest meseci kućnog pritvora studentu Elektrotehničkog fakulteta Andreju Tanku, da je prvi osuđeni od početka studentskih protesta student, ali nije "niko od odgovornih za pad nadstrešnice" Železničke stanice u Novom Sadu 1. novembra 2024. godine.
