Strait of Hormuz Threatened by Oil Spill
Following months of conflict over shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, Iran is reportedly now contending with severe oil pollution that threatens protected areas. An oil spill is also spreading off the coast of Oman subsequent to a tanker accident.
