Spanish Finance Minister Announces Deficit Figures and Hopes for Fiscal Rule Deactivation
Spanish Finance Minister María Jesús Montero announced that the deficit closed at 2.5% in 2025 and expressed hope that Brussels would deactivate fiscal rules if the war prolongs. She also reported that aid for Andalusia flood victims has begun and an accident in Adamuz will be declared a work accident.
