Spanish Electricity Bills Soar Over 20% in August

The average electricity bill for households on regulated tariffs in Spain has surged by more than 20% in August, reaching 61.33 euros in the first 21 days of the month, an 11-euro increase from a year ago, as wholesale market prices exceed 124 euros/MWh.
