Smoke Blankets Strovolos and Latsia After Large Waste Fire Breaks Out

Thick smoke covered parts of Nicosia on Tuesday morning following a blaze ignited in a large pile of discarded tree cuttings and grass waste. Firefighters responded to the open-area fire to contain the spread.
