Slovenia Reports Significant Increase in Lyme Disease Cases
The National Institute of Public Health in Slovenia warns of a notable rise in Lyme disease cases, the most common tick-borne illness. Over 1300 cases were reported in June, compared to just over 800 in the same period last year, emphasizing the importance of tick protection as a vaccine is not yet available.
