Slovenia Overhauls Media Law, Triggering Leadership Change at Public Broadcaster RTVS

The Slovenian government has proposed comprehensive reforms to media legislation that will restructure funding and ownership regulations for the national broadcaster RTVS. Under the new rules, the current executive team’s mandate would automatically expire once the legislation takes effect.
