Slovak Government Abolishes Two Public Holidays While Retaining 100% Surcharge for Work
The Slovak government has abolished May 8th and September 15th as public holidays, but employees will still receive a 100% surcharge for working on these days. Both holidays fall on a Friday this year, allowing companies to mandate leave.
