Regarding insomnia and other 'sleep disorders' where sufficient sleep cannot be obtained, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's expert panel has approved their addition to the names of departments in medical institutions. They will now be able to be listed in combination with other department names, such as 'Sleep Disorder Internal Medicine,' and it is expected that people suffering from sleep problems will be able to receive appropriate treatment.
