SIT probing Rs 124 crore spent by Trust on Ram temple events over 2 years

A special investigation team is examining over Rs 124 crore spent on major Ram Temple Trust events. The Jan 2024 consecration ceremony alone saw Rs 113 crore in expenditures. Investigators are auditing financial records and payment vouchers from the past two years. Donations of precious metals and jewellery are also being verified by the SIT. The probe ensures funds were utilized according to prescribed financial procedures and approvals.
