Shogi: Fujii Sota Wins First Game of Kisei Title Match

Shogi's Kisei title match, one of the eight major titles, saw its first game played in Chiba Prefecture on the 4th. Sota Fujii, the 23-year-old six-crown holder, defeated challenger Shinichiro Hattori, 26, to secure a white star victory in the opening match.
