Shindo 5 weak: Tohoku Shinkansen operation suspended

According to JR East, the Tohoku Shinkansen is suspending operations between Tokyo Station and Shin-Aomori Station in both directions due to a power outage caused by the earthquake. The power outage occurred between Shin-Shirakawa Station in Fukushima Prefecture and Ninohe Station in Iwate Prefecture. As of 8:40 PM, there is no prospect of resuming operations.
