Severe Storm Hits Varaždin, Croatia, Red Alert Issued

A powerful storm with strong winds and hail the size of walnuts struck Varaždin and its surroundings in Croatia on Sunday afternoon. The Croatian State Hydrometeorological Institute issued a red weather alert for the affected areas.

Varaždin i okolinu u popodnevnim časovima u nedelju pogodilo je snažno nevreme praćeno olujnim vetrom i gradom, prenosi N1 Zagreb. Grad veličine oraha, kiša i jak vetar počeli su oko 16 časova. Hrvatski državni hidrometeorološki zavod izdao je upozorenja za osječku, zagrebačku i karlovačku regiju.
