Seven Sentenced in October 4 Election Unrest Case in Tbilisi
Seven individuals, including 72-year-old doctor Giorgi Chakhunashvili, have been sentenced to three to five years in prison for their involvement in the October 4, 2025, election-day unrest in Tbilisi. The sentences were handed down by Tbilisi City Court Judge Giorgi Gelashvili on June 19.
