Prošlog leta su zborovi građana širom Srbije organizovali proteste, tražeći izbore i ukazujući na teška nepočinstva koja je činila vlast. Represija je bila velika. Policija, koja se evidentno stavila na stranu uzurpatora, nemilosrdno je premlaćivala studente i građane.
