Sari Essayah, a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), criticized the sports field for its "really confusing" policies regarding Russia. She clarified that the change in the Olympic Charter is not directly related to Russia, and both she and Sirpa Korkatti, chair of the Ski Association, continue to oppose Russia's return to international sports.
