Russia Deploys Firefighting Aircraft to Serbia Amidst Widespread Wildfires
Russia dispatched an IL-76 firefighting aircraft and a team to Serbia in response to a request for assistance as wildfires spread across the country, claiming at least one life and prompting an emergency declaration in Kladovo. The Russian plane landed in Niš and was scheduled to begin operations in the Deliblatska Peščara region.
