Rural Fires Triple in Portugal by May, GNR Identifies Uncleaned Land

Portugal has seen a threefold increase in rural fire occurrences by May compared to the previous year, with 2921 incidents reported. The GNR has also identified more than 11,800 plots of land that require cleaning to prevent further fires.
