Na řece Temži v pondělí odstartovalo tradiční královské sčítání labutí známé jako Swan Upping. Pětidenní výprava v historických člunech už dávno neslouží jen k potvrzení vlastnictví ptáků britským panovníkem. Dnes je především důležitou součástí ochrany přírody, odborníci při ní počítají mladé labutě a kontrolují jejich zdravotní stav.
