Romania Remains a Source and Destination Country for Human Trafficking Victims
A recent report from the National Agency Against Human Trafficking indicates that Romania continues to be both a country of origin and destination for human trafficking victims, with a 16% increase in identified victims in 2025. Nearly 600 women and girls were identified as victims during that year.
