Renovation of Mořičov Hunting Lodge Nears Completion in Czech Republic

The town of Ostrov near Karlovy Vary is finalizing the renovation of the Baroque hunting lodge in Mořičov, an 18th-century monument. Workers had to clear hundreds of tons of rubble from the site, and the restored area will feature a barrier-free resting place for tourists.

Ostrov u Karlových Varů dokončuje sanaci barokního loveckého zámečku v osadě Mořičov. Dělníci museli z okolí památky z 18. století nejprve odklidit stovky tun suti. V obnoveném areálu zříceniny nově vznikne bezbariérové odpočinkové místo pro turisty i návštěvníky naučné stezky.
