Polish authorities held burial ceremonies for the exhumed remains of 55 Polish victims of the 1943 Volhynia massacre, many of whom were children.

Na Wołyniu odbyły się uroczystości pogrzebowe szczątków 55 Polaków, ofiar rzezi wołyńskiej z Ostrówek i Woli Ostrowieckiej. Ekshumacje prowadzono na przełomie lipca i sierpnia, w zbiorowej mogile były szczątki wielu dzieci, z których najmłodsze w chwili śmierci miało kilka miesięcy.
