Record-Breaking Heatwave Hits Czech Republic
The Czech Republic experienced a record-breaking heatwave on August 4, with temperatures reaching 41.5°C in Plzeň-Bolevec. Half of the country's weather stations recorded or equaled their absolute temperature records, and three-quarters set new August maximums.
