Rain brought new hope to firefighters battling Belgium's largest historical fire in the High Fens nature reserve, which had consumed approximately 3,000 hectares since Friday.

Oheň spolykal 3000 hektarů. Pak přišel spásný déšť

Déšť přinesl v pondělí ráno novou naději hasičům, kteří bojují s dosud největším požárem v historii Belgie. Oheň od pátku sužuje přírodní rezervaci High Fens na východě země a spolkl už zhruba 3000 hektarů. Hrozilo, že plameny dorazí až k německé hranici. Teď ale do boje vstoupil nečekaný spojenec - déšť.
