R Madhavan conferred with Padma Shri, bows down to PM Narendra Modi

President Murmu bestowed the remaining Padma Awards 2026, including Padma Bhushan for Mammootty and Alka Yagnik, at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Prime Minister Modi and other dignitaries attended the ceremony where 65 honours were presented. Notable recipients also included R Madhavan and Rohit Sharma, while veteran actor Satish Shah was honoured posthumously. This follows an earlier ceremony where Dharmendra received a posthumous Padma Vibhushan.
