Psychiatrist Numbers Double in Croatia While Beds Decrease
Croatia has seen a doubling of psychiatrists over the past 25 years, yet psychiatric bed capacity has decreased by nearly a quarter, with mental disorders now accounting for almost a third of all disability cases and a rise in adolescent hospitalizations.
