Provident Fund Contribution Beyond Rs 1,800 Voluntary
Under the new Employees' Provident Funds Scheme 2026, the Centre has clarified that provident fund contributions exceeding Rs 1,800 per month are voluntary, with both employee and employer contributions capped at Rs 15,000 monthly.
