Bez zgody 10-letniego dziecka rodzic nie będzie już mógł zmienić jego nazwiska. Projekt reformy w tej sprawie przygotowała Komisja Kodyfikacyjna Prawa Rodzinnego. Dodatkowo daje on rodzicom większą swobodę w tworzeniu nazwisk dwuczłonowych.
