Power Restored to Iceland’s Grindavík Following Widespread Blackout
Residents of Grindavík were temporarily placed on backup power after a significant electricity outage disrupted the coastal town. Utility crews have since restored full power supply to the area and surrounding neighborhoods.

Rafmagni hefur verið komið aftur á í Grindavík eftir útleysingu í gær. Rafmagnslaust varð á hluta Suðurnesja sídegis í gær eftir að þrjár háspennulínur Landsnets leystu út. Það voru Svartsengislínur 1 og 2 auk Njarðvíkurlínu. Í tilkynningu Landsnets í morgun segir að varaaflsvélum hafi verið komið fyrir í Grindavík og rafmagn komið aftur á. RÚV
