Poor communication main cause of patient complaints to hospital ombudsmen in Czech Republic

Insufficient or inappropriate communication is the most frequent complaint from patients against healthcare professionals, according to hospital ombudsmen in the Czech Republic. The number of complaints has increased, though only about a tenth are deemed justified.

Špatná komunikace zdravotníků s pacienty je hlavní příčinou stížností nemocničním ombudsmanům

Nedostatečná nebo nevhodná komunikace. To jsou nejčastější stížnosti pacientů na zdravotníky. Nemocniční ombudsmani jich přijali víc než loni. Oprávněných stížností je přitom jen zhruba desetina. I to zaznělo na konferenci Asociace ombudsmanů ve zdravotnictví, která druhým dnem pokračuje v Benešově.
