Ukrajinský parlament jmenoval nové ministry zahraničí a obrany. V čele obrany definitivně střídá populárního Mychajla Fedorova bývalý šéf kontrarozvědky Jevhen Chmara. Změna už v červenci vyvolala protesty po celé zemi. Fedorov teď vyzval k uspořádání prezidentských voleb. „Volby nelze uskutečnit způsobem, který bude nenapadnutelný,“ upozorňuje pro Český rozhlas Plus politolog Jan Šír a připomíná, že miliony občanů kvůli válce uprchly za hranice.
